MyPhone Fail
Let's be clear, I REALLY like my TMobile service! I have been a loyal user for 6+ years and don't want to leave TMobile. I also really like my iTouch and the iPhone platform a lot. I know what a smart phone can do and should do. My HTC MyTouch does NOT live up to the billing in my opinion.

Coupon Jip
Gotta love this! Hudson's on the Bend published this coupon. But I LOVE that the $100 is the best value. REALLY? All four are just multiples of the first, but spending $40 is a better value?
Post MyPhone Crash n Burn
Post: Today's crash brought to you by Google Maps. Was sitting still looking at map and going to Gmail app when all froze and failed. Dang!
The MyPhone may I just received from Tmobile didn't share my fail stories. I'll just have to keep sharing.
Mid-call crash, Stoopid MyTouch
This time, I admit there were a few things going on first. I just
finished videoing Mancub2 spinning in a continous circle, looking
bored but (when questioned) saying she was having fun. The second
short video stopped itself and I thought it was an auto feature, not a
flaw. However, a little while later, I needed to make a phone call. First,
the security dot pattern thing was slow to respond. I made the call
and after about 30 seconds of talking, my ear got the big green of
death. It restarted. After coming back alive, the phone force-quit an Android app and then
started the voice dialer, which I didn't click. A very laggy phone
finally let me open Contacts to find that the call Log didn't even
register that I made the call. TMobile, this is my second replacement phone. It still bites. Do something!!

MyTouch MyFail MyTruck
Today, the phone has started playing the media player randomly in and out of the truck. Finally, while just driving down the highway, not touching the phone at all, it restarts. Nice. At least I didn't need it right then. hm
A New Kind of Fail
On the way to work today, my MyTouch Google phone crashed twice. Both
times, the phone would respond to a waking swipe with they 9 dot pass
word screen, but with no dots I could do nothing but restart the
phone. It was especially sad because I was trying to show off a non-iPhone
alternative to an avid iPhone fan and owner. Doubly sad since I chose to send this via iPad instead of troublesome

MyTouch Gmail Fail
Maybe I get too busy to notice some of the small things in life. For instance, I login to Gmail and realize that I'm several days behind in email. How can that be? The mail comes straight to my phone?!Today's MyTouch Fail is brought to you by the frozen Gmail app. My Gmail on the phone hasn't updated since May 18. Somehow, either the energy-saving app or I turned off syncing. I don't do that as a rule, but stranger things have happened. I have been hitting 'refresh' in the app for a few days now and nothing changed. It's be great if the idiot box opened and said, "You are not synced to Gmail" instead of just spinning. Verizon, do you have an announcement yet????
Killing A Phone Call
It's been a good few days with no crashes. Spent time on the road, but ran no major apps or anything special. Got back home today, talked on the phone for about 30 minutes and BAM, dead air and green screen of death. Phone auto restarted and came back up eventually.
A Timely Fail This Time
I just finished talking with an uncle on an important phone call, sat the phone down and my old friend the glowing MyTouch Screen of New Life appears. Wasn't doing anything for the last 5 hours until that 20 minute call. I was told that I was being too negative with this blog. Well, a failed phone device and no recourse with the provider is a negative thing. So, I'll be positive in this one blog. ... "Wow, what nice job my phone did connecting me with my uncle during a 20 minute call tonight. How nice that it waited until we were done to abruptly fail." That is all.
